はじめてコミケに参加してきました。
人が多い、寒い、並ぶ――という話は聞いていましたが、
実際に行ってみて分かったこと、感じたことがいくつかあったのでまとめておきます。
これから参加する人や、特に海外から来る人の参考になれば嬉しいです。

🧥 持って行って良かったもの
■ 防寒対策（必須）
冬コミはとにかく寒いです。
- 防寒着
- マフラー
- 手袋
- カイロ
特に朝はかなり冷えます。
並ぶ時間が長くなることを考えると、防寒はやりすぎなくらいでちょうどいいです。
■ 折りたたみ椅子 or レジャーシート
これは人によりますが、
- 長時間並ぶ予定なら → ほぼ必須
- 短時間なら → 無くてもOK
という印象でした。
会場周辺は座れる場所がほとんどないので、
地面に座りたくない人は 小さなレジャーシート だけでもあると楽です。
■ 食べ物・飲み物
会場内でも購入はできますが、
- 混む
- 並ぶ
- 売り切れることもある
ので、軽食と飲み物は事前に用意しておくと安心です。
■ 絶対に忘れちゃいけないもの
- リストバンド
- 現金（1000円札・500円玉多め）
- ICカード（3,000〜5,000円分）
- A3サイズが入る丈夫なバッグ
- モバイルバッテリー
- スマホ
- 買い物リスト
特に現金は重要です。
個人サークルが多いため、現金のみ対応が基本だと思っておいた方がいいです。
⏰ 入場と待ち時間について
- アーリーチケット：10:30入場
- 一般参加：11:00入場
一般参加の場合、どうしても待ち時間が発生します。
私の場合は日陰で30分ほど待ちましたが、
時間帯や場所によってはもっと待つこともあると思います。
並ぶのが苦手な人は、
アーリーチケットを使うのも一つの選択肢だと思いました。
🚻 トイレ事情
トイレは会場内にあります。
私自身は、
- 1回目：ほぼ並ばず使用
- 2回目：少しだけ並んだ
という感じでした。
ただし混雑状況はタイミング次第なので、
行けるときに済ませておくのが無難です。
🧍♂️ スタッフさんについて
会場内にはスタッフさんがたくさんいます。
- 案内してくれる
- 困ったときに頼れる
- 外国語対応できる方もいる
ので、分からないことがあれば遠慮せず声をかけて大丈夫です。
🗑 ゴミについて
ゴミは、会場内に設置されている回収ポイントに持っていく形でした。
巡回回収というより、
「決められた場所に捨てる」スタイルです。
数はそれなりにありますが、
基本は 自分で持ち歩く前提 で考えておくと安心です。
🪑 座る場所について
正直に言うと、
👉 ほぼ無いです。
誰かが座っているか、通路になっているかで、
自由に休める場所はほとんどありません。
だからこそ、
- 折りたたみ椅子
- レジャーシート
が役に立ちます。
📶 電波状況
これはかなり注意点です。
人が多すぎて、
- 通信が遅い
- 地図が開かない
- メッセージが送れない
という場面がありました。
事前に
- 会場マップを保存
- スクリーンショットを撮る
- バッテリーを多めに持つ
のがおすすめです。
🚶♂️ 並ぶ文化について
コミケでは「並ぶ」のが基本です。
入場も、移動も、人気サークルも、すべて行列になります。
東京駅のラッシュに近い感覚なので、
無理せず、焦らず、流れに任せるのが一番です。
📸 写真撮影について
写真を撮る場合は注意が必要です。
- 無断撮影はしない
- 人が写る場合は特に注意
- サークル内は撮影NGが多い
基本的には、
一声かける or 撮らない が安全です。
💴 現金・小銭は本当に大事
個人サークルが中心なので、
- クレジットカード不可
- 電子マネー不可
- 小銭が必要
という場面が多いです。
1000円札・500円玉を多めに用意しておくと安心です。
🌱 最後に一番大事だと思ったこと
コミケは、
スタッフさんと参加者みんなで作っているイベントだと感じました。
ルールやマナーが守られないと、
その場所自体が使えなくなる可能性もあります。
誰か一人の行動で成り立つイベントではなく、
参加者全員の心がけで続いている場所。
それを忘れずに参加することが、
一番大切だと思います。

My First Comiket Experience
What to Bring, What to Expect, and Important Tips for Visitors
I visited Comiket for the first time and would like to share what I learned from the experience.
There is a lot of information online, but actually being there feels very different.
This article is written for first-time visitors, especially those coming from overseas.
Please note: This article is based on my experience at Comiket in Winter 2025 (C107).

🧥 What to Bring (Especially in Winter)
❄️ Warm clothing is essential
Winter Comiket can be very cold, especially in the morning.
I strongly recommend:
- A warm jacket
- Scarf and gloves
- Heat packs (kairo)
- Thermal innerwear (such as Heattech)
The area around Tokyo Big Sight gets very cold, especially near the ground, so keeping your legs and feet warm is important.
🪑 Folding chair or picnic sheet
This depends on your plan.
- If you expect to wait a long time → highly recommended
- If not → optional
There are very few places to sit around the venue.
If you don’t want to sit directly on the ground, even a small picnic sheet can help a lot.
🥪 Food and drinks
Food is available inside the venue, but:
- Lines can be long
- Some items sell out
Bringing light snacks and drinks in advance is a good idea.
🎒 Important Items You Should Not Forget
- Wristband (required for entry)
- Cash (¥1,000 bills and ¥500 coins)
- IC card (¥3,000–5,000 recommended)
- Large bag (A3 size fits well)
- Mobile battery
- Smartphone
- Shopping list
Many booths only accept cash, so small bills are very important.
🎫 About the Wristband (Entry Pass)
Comiket wristbands can be purchased in advance at stores such as Animate about one month before the event.
Only the afternoon entry wristband is available for purchase at the venue on the day of the event,
but it often takes time due to long lines.
For a smoother experience, buying the wristband in advance is highly recommended.
⏰ Entry Time and Waiting
- Early entry: 10:30 AM
- General entry: 11:00 AM
If you enter as a general participant, you will likely need to wait outside.
In my case, I waited about 30 minutes in the shade.
Depending on the time and location, it may take longer.
If you want to save time and energy, early entry tickets may be worth considering.
🚻 Restrooms
Restrooms are available inside the venue.
In my experience:
- First time: no waiting
- Second time: short wait
It depends on timing, so it’s best to go when you have the chance rather than waiting too long.
🧍♂️ Staff Support
There are many staff members throughout the venue.
- Easy to find
- Very helpful
- Some can speak English
If you are unsure about anything, don’t hesitate to ask.
🗑 Trash Disposal
There are designated trash collection points inside the venue.
Staff do not collect trash directly, but you can dispose of it at these locations.
It’s best to carry your trash with you until you find a collection point.
🪑 Seating Areas
To be honest:
There are almost no places to sit.
Most areas are crowded or used as walkways.
This is why a folding chair or picnic sheet can be very useful.
📶 Internet Connection
Mobile signal can be very weak due to the large number of people.
- Maps may not load
- Messages may be delayed
- Payments can take longer
I recommend:
- Saving maps in advance
- Taking screenshots
- Bringing a power bank
🚶♂️ About Lines and Crowds
Lining up is a normal part of Comiket.
You will line up for:
- Entry
- Popular booths
- Moving between areas
It can feel as crowded as Tokyo Station during rush hour.
Patience and calm behavior are important.
📸 Photography Rules
Please be careful when taking photos.
- Do not take photos without permission
- Be careful if people appear in your photo
- Many booths prohibit photography
If you are unsure, it’s best to ask or not take the photo.
💴 Cash and Currency Exchange (Important)
Most booths are run by individuals, so:
- Credit cards are often not accepted
- Cash is required
- Small bills are very important
About currency exchange:
There are no currency exchange counters inside the venue.
Currency exchange is available at:
- Airports
- Major train stations
- Banks
However:
- Some banks require a cash card
- Exchange may not be available outside business hours
For this reason, it is strongly recommended to exchange money in advance.
🌱 Final Thoughts
The most important thing I felt was this:
Comiket is an event created by everyone — staff and visitors alike.
If rules or manners are ignored, the venue itself could be lost in the future.
It’s not just an event you attend,
but one you help protect by being respectful and considerate.
That mindset is what makes Comiket special.
