To commemorate this milestone, Akagi Nyugyo will release the first anniversary flavor, Garigari-kun Rich White Choco Choco Choco Chip, nationwide in Japan starting January 13, 2026.
This limited-edition ice bar focuses on the rich taste and texture of white chocolate, while maintaining the signature crunchy sensation that Garigari-kun is known for.
What Is White Choco Choco Choco Chip?
This ice bar combines three layers of white chocolate flavor:
- White chocolate ice cream on the outside
- White chocolate shaved ice inside
- White chocolate chips mixed into the shaved ice
By blending the chocolate chips directly into the shaved ice layer, the product offers a contrast between smoothness and crunch, as well as a consistent white chocolate flavor throughout.
The bar is classified as an ice milk product, allowing a mild milk richness to complement the sweetness of white chocolate.
